The McNally Project for Paramedicine Research is excited to announce our inaugural Visiting Scholar, Dr. Cameron Gosling from Monash University.

Dr. Cameron Gosling has been an academic member of staff with the Monash University Department of Paramedicine since 2016. Previously he held roles as a Research Fellow at Monash University with the Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine based at the Alfred Hospital (2009-2013) and the Department of Physiotherapy (2013-2016). His background is in sports science, physiology and injury epidemiology.
He is currently a senior lecturer and Higher Degree by Research Coordinator in the Department of Paramedicine, Monash University.
His primary research focus is injury epidemiology, in particular investigating sports, workplace and traumatic injuries. He has a research focus on safety in paramedic education and practice. He has experience applying quantitative and qualitative methodologies across varied projects in paramedicine.
Dr. Gosling’s Visiting Scholar term at the end of April and start of May 2025 will include meetings with service operators in Ontario and BC, meetings with various regulatory agencies, clinical time with community paramedics, and a presentation to McNally Project membership.
