McNally Project member Cameron Woodman has been accepted to both the Sepsis Canada and Life-Threatening Illness National Group (LifTING) research training programs this Fall. Both of these training programs are two years in length and are funded by the CIHR. The programs are meant to bring to together trainees from different backgrounds, including patients and family members, early-career researchers, healthcare professionals, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows.
The program involves training in a wide range of research skills, including anti-oppressive practices & interdisciplinary teamwork to improve research in the areas of sepsis and life threatening illness.
Cameron is hoping to improve his skills as a researcher, form connections, and represent more paramedic lead research initiatives within this diverse group of colleagues.
