Lived experiences of COVID-19

Fellow Lindsey Boechler, along with Scientist Polly Ford Jones, Fellows Cheryl Cameron & Chris Smith, and member Patrick Suthers are working on a research project investigating the lived experiences of Canadian paramedics during the COVID19 pandemic. Lindsey and Patrick will provide a virtual oral presentation at the Dalhousie EMS Research Day on October 27, 2020. Well done team!

Australasian College of Paramedicine International Conference 2020 (ACPIC2020)

Fellow Chris Smith will present his MSc research on naloxone and opioid overdose prediction at ACPIC2020 on October 21.

Scientist Dr. Polly Ford-Jones will present her research on mental health education in paramedicine at ACPIC2020 on October 22.

EMS Leadership Summit, Oct 15-19, online

Fellow Paige Mason will speak on female leadership in paramedicine at the EMS Leadership Summit (online), from October 15-19. Fellow Tim Makrides will also speak at the event on opportunities for international paramedicine, and Senior Fellow Alan Batt will speak about sponsorship of women in paramedicine.
