The Dalhousie University Division of EMS 12th Annual EMS Research Day was held on Tuesday, October 27th, 2020. Eleven studies were presented on the day.

McNally Project Fellow J. Chris Smith won the Ron Stewart Top Paramedic Research Award on the day with the presentation of his masters research titled “Leveraging paramedic data for temporal monitoring and modelling of opioid and other intoxicant use.”

This award is presented annually to the best research led by a paramedic. Previous McNally Project winners of the Ron Stewart Award include Fellow Jen Greene, and Scientist Dr. Judah Goldstein.
